Student Testimonial:

Stacey is a kind, patient, and encouraging person. Every session felt relaxed, structured, and motivating, and she had a way of lifting the energy in the room regardless of where any of us were on a given day. I always looked forward to our next session, which says a lot about the kind of environment she creates. She also made me feel comfortable enough to always be myself, speak my mind, and express myself freely without worrying about how it would land. What makes Stacey stand out is how deeply understanding she is. She meets you where you are and never makes you feel judged for it. In moments where life got in the way and I missed a deadline, she never scolded me. She simply understood and kept me moving forward. Her feedback was always honest and straightforward. She will tell you the truth even when it is uncomfortable, and she does it in a way that genuinely helps you grow. Even on the days she said she did not have all the answers, I still found every word she said helpful and worth living by, which is the greatest thing you could ever ask for in a person. The piece of advice she shared that has stayed with me ever since is that whatever I am doing in life does not have to make sense to other people. As long as it makes sense to me, makes me happy, and makes me feel whole, that is enough. I used to get really discouraged every time I sent out a job application and heard nothing back, but she helped me make peace with that. She told me that whatever is meant for me will always find me, and that the more I kept creating CVs and cover letters, the more experienced and confident I would become at it. She was right.I can now write CVs and cover letters confidently, have found clarity in my career path, and can even guide friends through the same processes. This is something I could never have done before I met her. The way I see my career, my choices, and even rejection is completely different today, and that is because of her. I believe everyone needs a Stacey in their corner at some point in their life, and I am genuinely glad she was mine. If you ever get the chance to be mentored by her, take it. You will not regret it. - Sharon Musimbi
